God Speaks Through Strangers

Who is this God person, anyway?

Whoever you think or want him/her/us/them to be.

To quote J.D. Salinger, “The main current of poetry that flows through all things, all things”.

Or, as Mason Jennings put it,

“You are unnameable.
You are unknowable.
All we have is metaphor.
That’s what time and space are for.

Is the universe Your thought?
You are, and You are not,
You are many, You are one,
Ever ending, just begun.”

Ok then, what about these strangers?  Who are they?

All of them.  Including, but not limited to stars, rocks, trees, and robots, as well as presidents, C.E.O.’s, civil rights activists, and refugees.
